HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO APPLY FOR THE PITCH CONTEST?

The standard application fee is $100 for each application.

ARE THERE RESTRICTIONS ON TYPE OF COMPANY OR INDUSTRY THAT CAN APPLY?

We only require that you've been in business for 5 years or less to apply. We accept applications from any location or industry.

IS THERE AN EDUCATION REQUIREMENT TO PARTICIPATE?

No there isn't. Education is optional.

DO YOU OFFER APPLICATION REFUNDS?

We do not offer refunds, all sales are final.

WHEN DOES THE APPLICATION CLOSE?

DO YOU REIMBURSE FOR TRAVEL?

Unfortunately, we do not reimburse for travel.  We do however have discounts with several hotels in the Fresno, California area - contact us to learn more: info@valleyinnovators.com.

DOES MY COMPANY HAVE TO PROVIDE STOCK IF WE WIN THE PRIZE MONEY?

No, we do not require an equity investment in your startup for your participation in our pitch contest.

DO YOU PROVIDE A DEDICATED WORKSPACE FOR STARTUPS IN THIS PROGRAM?

At this time we do not have a shared workspace.  However, we do have partners that can help - contact us to learn more: info@valleyinnovators.com.

WILL YOU SIGN AN NDA?

No, we do not sign non disclosure agreements but we'll make every effort to protect your idea. Please keep in mind you will be pitching your idea to an audience that is an open forum.

CAN I APPLY WITH TWO DIFFERENT COMPANIES?

No, you may only apply as the founder of a single company.

WE HAVE PARTICIPATED IN ANOTHER PITCH CONTEST, CAN I STILL PARTICIPATE IN THIS ONE?

Absolutely.

No, we accept applicants from all over the world.  It is a requirement that at least one founder participates in-person for at least one educational event in Fresno, California to be eligible to win a pitch contest prize.

No, we do not provide visas and are unable to get involved in the visa process.

Absolutely.
